Robot with Rat Brain
I make a lot of reference to this experiment in my book.
The scientists use 300 000 living neurons from a rat brain to control the robot, making it the first cyborg.
The important thing is that these neurons react like Artificial Neuronal Network predict living neurons will learn!
Also of interest is that the neurons need to be replaced with new neurons every 3 months. The new neurons learn.
