Too many people think that South Africa changed from an oppresive regime to a Rainbow nation in 1994 overnight.
This is not what happened.

In that period South Africa had 3 Nobel PEace Prize winners: Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Pres. FW deKlerk amd Nelson Mandella.

South Africa scrapped the last Apartheid Laws under white only government.

South Africa had a white only referendum about giving the vote to Black people, and an election.

We started our company in 1984 and in 1994 - to celebrate our decade - we made a video colage of the events of each year using BBC and SABC footage. This shows international and SA events as well as the best ads of each year.

SA Advertising students will be amazed at the quality of emotional advertising used 25 years ago.

For people aged 40 years and olders this is a real memory trip.


I know this has nothing to do with neuromarketing. We have adopted a black street-child during this time. He became head-boy of an Afrikaans Primary School, played Craven week rugby, MAtriculated at St Stitians on a bursary.
